Terms of Service – "App4it - Social Events&Meetups"

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the "App4it - Social Events&Meetups" mobile application
for Android and iOS (the "App") and related services provided by App4it ("App4it", "we", "us").
By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1) What the App is for
"App4it - Social Events&Meetups" is a social platform for discovering and organizing real-world events and gatherings
(meetups, group activities, local events). It is NOT a dating app, hookup service,
or platform for sexual encounters.
2) Who can use the App
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.
- You must not be prohibited from receiving our services under applicable law.
3) Content rules (what you cannot post)
Prohibited content includes:
- Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material
- Violence, gore, or graphic content
- Hate speech, harassment, or threats
- Illegal activities or promotion of illegal acts
- Spam, scams, or deceptive content
- Impersonation of others
4) Your responsibilities
- You own your content but grant App4it a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the App.
- Content you post is public to all App users (events, comments, images, profile info).
- You are responsible for the safety of events you organize (venue, activities, attendees).
- Do not use the App to stalk, harass, or engage in unwanted contact.
5) Account and security
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- Do not share your login credentials or create accounts for others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6) Third-party services
The App uses Supabase, Brevo, OneSignal, and Geoapify. Your use of the App is also subject to
their terms and privacy policies.
7) Our rights
- We can modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.
- We can remove content or accounts that violate these Terms.
- We do not guarantee the App will always be available or error-free.
8) Payments (future)
The App currently has no paid features. Future paid services will have separate terms.
9) Termination
- You can delete your account anytime in the App settings.
- We can terminate your access for violations of these Terms.
10) Liability
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, App4it is not liable for
indirect damages, lost profits, or damages from user content or event attendance.
11) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
12) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
